Pelatihan Praktik Menyusui di Kompleks Otoritas Bandara Wilayah V Makassar dan Posyandu Teratai VI Makassar
Abstract
Keunggulan ASI tersebut perlu ditunjang dengan cara pemberian ASI yang benar, antara lain
pemberian ASI segera setelah lahir (30 menit pertama bayi harus sudah disusukan) kemudian
pemberian ASI saja sampai bayi umur 6 bulan (ASI eksklusif), selanjutnya pemberian ASI sampai 2
tahun dengan pemberian makanan pendamping ASI yang benar. Tujuan dari edukasi ini adalah
membantu para ibu untuk mengetahui teknik menyusui yang benar sehingga dapat memberikan ASI
pada bayinya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan usaha-usaha atau pengelolaan yang benar, agar setiap ibu
dapat menyusui sendiri bayinya. Dengan memberikan pelatihan tentang cara menyusui yang baik,para

VI, Jl. Pampang III kelurahan Pampang Kecamatan Panakukang Makassar dapat melihat presentase
video dan praktek langsung dengan menggunaan manikin bayi. Para ibu-ibu sangat antusias mengikuti
kegiatan pelatihan ini karena kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman berharga kepada mereka
sekaligus pengetahuan tentangpentingnya ASI bagi anak-anak mereka, sehingga mengurangi angka
kesakitan pada anak-anak akibat mengkonsumsi susu formula.
